Along with the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking and its partners, Attorney General Ashley Moody is pleased to announce the 2020 Human Trafficking Summit will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Florida’s Human Trafficking Summit brings together local, state, and national leaders working to eradicate all forms of trafficking. Breakout sessions include recent updates and developments in the following areas:

  • legal and law enforcement
  • service delivery
  • policy and research
  • medical and healthcare

One of the duties of the Statewide Council on Human Trafficking is to hold an annual statewide policy summit with an institution of higher learning. Leaders in our state are committed to making Florida a zero-tolerance state for human trafficking. Learning opportunities created at the Human Trafficking Summit will allow Florida to continue working to protect victims, prevent trafficking, and prosecute traffickers.
